Yes, I treat both families and couples. ‘Family’ and ‘couple’ have no set definition here. My hourly rate is the same for couples and family sessions as it is for individual sessions.

Standard practice in therapy is to meet weekly. This is an effective model and most of my clients follow this pattern. However, you know your needs best and if finances, busy schedules, or just lack of need dictates that we meet less frequently, I am happy to accommodate.

Absolutely! The sincerity and dedication with which a client approaches their therapeutic journey will largely determine how much they benefit from the process. Deeply consider what you would like to take away from your time in therapy. Be willing to be vulnerable, receptive, and honest. Apply what you have learned.

My current rate is $190 per 50 minute hour. My rate is the same for individual, couples, and family sessions.

I do not currently accept insurance. However, for clients who have a PPO or plans which reimburse for mental health services, I provide an insurance-ready invoice each month. Clients can submit this invoice directly to their insurance provider for reimbursement. If you have questions about your coverage, contact your insurance carrier directly to discuss your coverage for counseling services.

Individual Counseling

The flowering of deep and practical self-awareness.

Whether you are going through a challenging breakup, dealing with lifelong anxiety, or just looking to find more fulfillment and joy in your life, individual work is the most focused way to address any and all areas of concern. My license, training, and education grant me the ability to work with any issue that involves relationships. Since most emotional distress is in some way influenced or impacted by interpersonal relationships, this includes just about everything.

A few less common areas of specialization that I work with are:
Spiritual Emergence Waking up to our spiritual nature can be a disorienting and even frightening experience. With heightened awareness comes heightened sensitivity. Developing a method for integrating these new experiences can allow this process to be less overwhelming and more enjoyable.

Entheogen Integration Working with sacred plant medicines has become an increasingly common element of spiritual growth. However, without adequate spiritual grounding or a context to put such experiences in, these openings can lead to a great deal of fear and confusion. I work with clients to facilitate integration of entheogenic experiences so that they can uncover the wisdom available in these types of deep inner journeys.

COUPLES THERAPY

Discovering the balance between union and sovereignty.

Intimate relationships provide us with a mirror in which to observe and understand ourselves more clearly. When both parties posses a desire and commitment to utilizing their reflection as a vehicle for self-development, amazing insight is possible.

FAMILY THERAPY

Understanding the unconscious dynamics of the family system to allow for intentional co-creation.

Overcoming wounds within the family system can be one of the most terrifying and liberating forms of therapy. In becoming aware of the the restrictive roles we have played within our family structure, we can begin to show up as a more complete version of ourselves.
